It was the last day of the summer holidays and I wasn't expecting much to happen ...

It was the last day of the summer holidays and I wasn't expecting too much to happen... but one crazy thing happened
It was the 31st of August- the day before the first of September. Most of my friends (and me) were in Belgrade preparing for school: last minute buying books, notebooks pencil cases and other stuff for school. Everyone was bored, so two of my friends thought of an idea that made that last day of holiday unforgettable. We made a deal to meet at our schoolyard. But when we came there we didn't have the foggiest idea what they prepared for us. Instead of words, they "flushed" us with hundreds of waterballoons. As soon as we realised what was going on, we joined the splashing. After 10 minutes all of us were soaked wet! We didn't know what to do with the rest of the balloons, so we started dropping them from the 13th floor! People on the streets were annoyed, but I think they liked "the shower" a bit.
So next time I think the 31st of August will be a calm day, I’d better think again.
