My Special Day

By Anđela Kantar, Anglian

My special day? Well, let me see! It’s my birthday?! NO! It’s a day when I get an A at school?! NO! It’s the last day of school? NO! Oh, I know! It’s a “PLAY DAY”.

You wonder what a “PLAY DAY” is? That’s my special day. Every weekend I go to my grandmother’s where I play in my MAGICAL WORLD. There are many games. Sometimes I’m a teacher. I take my dolls and I teach them. We talk, we speak English, we spell the words and we write on the board. Sometimes I’m a shop assistant. I take my cash register and sell things. Sometimes I’m a doctor. I take my stethoscope and listen to my doll’s heart. Sometimes I’m a ballet dancer. I teach my dolls how to dance. Sometimes I play with my toy house. I cook, I make beds and I clean the rooms.

Every weekend - a new idea, a new surprise. Every Friday I say goodbye to my real world and I “jump” into my magical world. Just a little imagination and off we go!!!
