You Are Never Alone in This Country

Can you imagine a place where the East meets the West? A place where twice the history of Europe has been decided! That is my country. Serbia! Located in the very heart of the infamous Balkans. What can be said about such a country?
Serbia is actually a very hospitable country, only presented in a bad way. Serbs are proud but welcoming people, always glad to help. We have only had ill luck to be in the center of so many previous wars. Serbia was used as an excuse for starting the World War One and before that its people had been fighting the Ottoman empire for almost 500 years.
Nowadays, if you are traveling, this is a country you cannot afford to miss. Serbia has much to offer! From wild night life in the capital city of Belgrade where everything works 24/7, to village tourism where you can try traditional food specialities. Also, there are museums that should be visited in Belgrade, Subotica, Valjevo, Novi Sad. . . And without exceptions, everywhere in Serbia you will find friendly welcome! You are never alone in this country.
Some people think badly of this country. But the truth is that they have never been here. You should not believe everything you hear. So come and see for yourself how good this country really is!
