WELCOME TO MY COUNTRY
My country, Serbia, is very beautiful and unique. It's located in south-east Europe, on Balkan peninsula. The population isn't very big, maybe about 8 million. Capital city is Belgrade. There were a lot of wars in Serbia. Serbia has got very beautiful nature. Mountains and rivers here are the most beautiful. Big rivers are Sava, Danube and "Velika Morava".
There aren't important events here like some big festivals, but in Belgrade there are some fun events are recently some bigger concerts, also some famous sights like "Kalemegdan" in Belgrade, "Cele Kula" in Nis, "Petrovaradinska tvrdjava" in Novi Sad where "Exit" (musical festival) is held every year. "Exit" is world known and many people and prefomers come from all over the world.
There are many spa centres. Some of the famous are "Soko banja" and "Vrnjacka banja". Serbia hasn't got lots of tourists over the year, but I think it should, because even though it's small, it has got really nice nature and monuments.
