A letter of complaint
Dear Sir, Madam,
I am writing to complain about both the service and the mobile phone I bought in your store last Monday.
Your store was recommended by a friend, who also bought a phone there and was very satisfied with it. She assured me that your store has all the newest high-tech stuff, all high quality.
You can imagine my disappointment when the phone hadn’t worked well at all: it didn’t respond to the commands given and suddenly turned off. I didn’t manage to turn it on again.
To make matters worse, when I went to the store with a receipt for a refund , the shop-assistant refused it. He was very rude and unfriendly. This was not what I expected and I was very dissatisfied.
I am sure that you will understand my reasons for writing this letter. I look forward to receiving a letter of apology, as well as a full refund.
Yours faithfully,
E. Brown
