People should be encouraged to use public transport more

Some people agree, some disagree that public transport is a good thing. If they could agree, it would be good for environment.
Level of air pollution is constantly rising and if people started using public transport more it would reduce air pollution. That's because people are using vehicles which discarge harmful gases. Those gases are not good for the ozone layer so people should reduce them. It is much better if there are twenty people in a bus or a tram than if every one of them drives a car. That is nineteen vehicles less to be in the streets. And imagine the number of cars which would be reduced in big cities. That would reduce both air pollution and traffic. If people were in a hurry or rushing somewhere, they wouldn't be stuck for an hour waiting for the crowd to disappear. They could easily get to the place they are heading to.
Traveling from home to work or school or other way around would be less stressfull and there wouldn't be many traffic jams. World would be a better place to live.
