People should be encouraged to use public transport

In every day life public transport helps people get where they need to go. But a large percent of people refuse to travel by public transport because they think that mean of traveling has a lot of disadvantages.
But I think the exact opposite. I think that the advantage outweigh the disadvantages. Firstly, the money that we spend on our car
(fuel, fixing) outweighs the money that we spend on bus ticket. In fact, ticket is a lot cheaper.
Secondly, in public transport you are in less danger than in your own car because vehicle is bigger and people that drive buses are experts.
As a last point, I think that in a bus you can meet a lot of different people but in a car you are all by yourself.
Finally, I think I proved that public transport could be as good as personal one. Buses are nice but I really could not understand how people would refuse to travel like this after all this journalist work.
