Oscar Studio is a school of English which specialises in teaching pre-school children. A team of teachers trained for work with small children implements a multi-hour syllables based on a combination of guided activities and the situational approach. Classes are divided into small groups and creative workshops. Instruction is facilitated by audio and visual aids designed by our school and accompanied by the most up-to-date British materials. In order to promote English among the youngest generation, Oscar Studio organizes classes on forty locations in pre-school institutions in New Belgrade and Vozdovac, where every year thousand of children get acquainted with bases of English language and culture.

Programme of the English language in the state-run kindergartens
Since 1993 Studio Oscar has been organising English classes in several dozens state-run kindergartens on the territory of the municipalities of New Belgrade and Vozdovac. In this way we have the opportunity to meet, welcome and make friends with more than one thousand "little Englishmen" every year. Owing to this programme we have learnt a great deal about children of pre-school age about their abilities, wishes and ideas of the world. We have acquired invaluable experience about which materials are interesting and easy to follow for these children as well as how to present them. We have a team of well-educated teachers (twenty specially trained to work with children of this age), as lot of kindergarten teachers, professional academic counselors from the fields of psychology and pedagogy.
Programme of the English language teaching in STUDIO OSKAR ENGLISH KINDERGARTEN
The experience of many years' work with children has confirmed our belief that children between 3 and 7 ears of age have no difficulty in adopting a new language; they are disposed to imitate and have no fear of making mistakes. The process of acquiring knowledge of a foreign language runs together with enriching of their mother tongue. Being guests at the premises of the kindergartens in New Belgrade and Vozdovac we have realize that learning process runs more smoothly and effectively in the relaxed, homely atmosphere of the kindergartens which are children's everyday surroundings. This was the reason we decided to found "The English Kindergarten" five years ago. It is a children's creative centre where children learn English, get to know English culture and tradition and compare them to their own. This programme has taught us to cherish co-operative interaction to be partners to children in the process of learning and discovering to help children not only to learn a language but to develop positive feeling, sense of responsibility, self-respect and to overcome shyness, as well as to master social skills.
Publishing programme
In order to meet the needs of our students and adjust course books, workbooks and follow-up materials to the interests and mentality of our children, STUDIO OSCAR has started publishing its own audio-visual materials.
